Refund policy

 

GemOfSouth.com does accept returns in the following cases:

1. If the product has certain manufacturing defects which the customer has to bring to our notification within 3 days of receipt of the product (when the courier delivery status upon tracking shows 'Delivered').

2. If the product the customer receives is considerably damaged, which the customer has to bring to our notification within 3 days of receipt of the product (when the courier delivery status upon tracking shows 'Delivered'). Please Note that Handmade Jewellery products may come with slight blemishes and imperfections, which are signature to such products, such imperfections considered as 'Damage'.

3. As proof of damage, Opening Video is must, which shows the concerned damage clearly.

4. No liking a product, or that it does not meet expectations is not a valid reason to claim an exchange, refund or replacement.

In both the above cases the customer has to send a photograph of the product with the damage clearly visible to our Business WhatsApp number +91 96332 84886 or our email, thegemsofsouth@gmail.com

In this case our team shall send a response to the same (within 2 business days) and shall give the customer the go ahead to courier the product back to us. The Customer shall courier the product back to Gems of South only after we have directed the same, any other couriers will not be our responsibility. The address to which the product has to be couriered will be provided to the customer once we accept the return process.

Once the product is couriered back to us and our team will inspect whether the same has reached us in the exact same condition as we have shipped it to you. Deformed or Used Products will not qualify for a refund or exchange. All items should be returned to us with the tags and printed documents that accompany your purchase.

Once our team receives the product and approves that the product if fit for a refund, then the amount (excluding shipping charges, if any) shall be transferred to the customer's Bank Account (which is to be provided through email) within 3 - 7 days of the approval.

Our products go through a thorough two stage quality check process before being packed and shipped to our customer to ensure that not one defective product reaches the customer. The above is for the very unfortunate situation where it happens. 

In case a replacement product is available, the customer will be given a replacement as exchange rather than a refund amount. The amount will be refunded only during a situation where stock is unavailable for the exact same product that the customer has purchased. Else in all cases Exchange option shall be the first option rather than the option of Refund.
